Tangará Foods occupies a huge industrial park with an area of 103,000 m², which houses three distinct lines of activities: a modern dairy industry, capable of processing over 300 tons of feedstock per day and warehousing 7,000 tons of products; a storage complex with a 30,000 tons capacity; and a cold storage chamber with state-of-the-art technology, capable of refrigerating up to 20,000 tons in temperatures ranging from -35º C to room temperature.
As important as the quality of its production, Tangará is equally concerned in making sure that its products reach customers quickly and securely. The strategic location of the company, some three kilometers away from the port of Vila Velha, in the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil, and close to four other ports (Vitória, Tubarão, Praia Mole and Portocel), greatly facilitates streamlining the logistics costs and expedites services that meet the needs of its customers in five continents.
Tangará Foods is constantly investing in research and development of new products and has a strict quality control at every stage of the production process. To ensure product excellence, our food engineers, chemists and technicians carry out bacteriological, sensory, physical, chemical, microscopic and chromatographic tests in the company’s own laboratories, equipped with cutting edge technology.
For these reasons, among others, Tangará is today one of the largest dairy processing enterprises in Brazil, and keeps growing!
