Cold chambers
Technology on a large scale.
Tangará’s installed capacity comprises 14 industrial cold chambers, independent and reversible, with a storage capacity of over 20 tons, and large refrigerated entry platforms for loading and unloading of cargo through thirteen docks with swinging ramps - one of the largest such complexes in Latin America.
In the chambers, the temperature is computer controlled with the help of specific software to preserve each product at an optimum temperature: varying from -35° C to ambient temperature. (-4 º F to ambient temperature). The chambers are designed to permit carrying out storage operations, distribution and cross docking, in accordance with each client’s requirements.
The system of operation and management of the complex allows, among other conveniences, to switch on and off the chambers, to automatically control the storage and defrost temperatures, to view and print out graphs and issue reports at any time upon request. Maintenance complies with the NR-13 safety standard for cold chamber operators, warehoused items and environmental regulations.
